Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how an engagement with LeafOne IT Solutions Private Limited(“LeafOne”, “we”) can be cancelled by you or by us, and what is owed when it is. Where your signed proposal, statement of work or agreement (“Proposal”) sets different terms, the Proposal prevails. Refunds arising from a cancellation are paid under our Refund Policy.

A proposal is an offer. You may decline it, or simply let it expire, at any time before you sign it, at no cost. We may withdraw or revise a proposal before it is signed.

You may cancel in writing before any work has started. Any advance paid is refunded less third-party costs we have already committed on your behalf, under the Refund Policy.

• Either party may cancel a project by giving fifteen (15) days’ written notice.
• You pay for all work performed up to the effective date of cancellation, plus third-party costs committed for the project, valued on the basis of the Proposal (completed milestones in full, and a work-in-progress milestone in proportion to the work done).
• Any amount you have paid beyond that value is refunded under the Refund Policy; any shortfall is invoiced.
• On payment of all amounts due, we hand over the work completed and paid for, in its current state.

Either party may cancel immediately by written notice if the other is in material breach of the Proposal or our Terms and fails to remedy the breach within fifteen (15) days of being notified of it.

• Inability to deliver. If we are unable to complete the agreed services, we may cancel and refund in full every amount paid for work not delivered.
• Non-payment. If an invoice remains unpaid after its due date, we may pause work, and after written notice suspend hosted services or cancel the engagement, as set out in the Proposal.
• Unlawful use. If a requested product or feature would break Indian law, we stop work immediately and may report it to the authorities; any refund follows their directions.
• Abuse. Harassment of our team or misuse of our systems may lead to immediate cancellation.

• Monthly retainers (for example digital marketing) may be cancelled with written notice before the start of the next billing month, subject to any minimum term in the Proposal. The month already begun is not refunded.
• Hosting and AMC plans may be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the current paid period; that period is not refunded. Renewal is not automatic unless you have agreed to it.
• When hosting ends we keep your website and data available for export for thirty (30) days, after which they may be permanently deleted.
• Domain names remain registered to you; renewals are your responsibility unless included in your plan.

A scheduled meeting can be rescheduled or cancelled at no charge using the link in its invitation, or by contacting your account manager.

Email hello@leafone.in from the address registered with your project, stating the project code or proposal reference and the date the cancellation is to take effect. Cancellation takes effect from the date we receive it (or the end of the notice period, where one applies), and we confirm it in writing.
